Lariba rules 2nd METTA Cup

MANILA, Philippines - Talented young star Ian Lariba snared three crowns in the last day of second Metropolitan Table Tennis Association (METTA) National Invitational Cup recently at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

The 15-year-old Lariba, a member of the Philippine team since 2007, gained the girl’s 15-and-under singles plum, girl’s 17-and-under singles crown and the women’s open singles title in the event organized by METTA president and national player Ting Ledesma.
