MANILA, Philippines - KidzHoops, the longest-running basketball program for boys and girls, holds its Season 7, second conference leveling on May 16, at 2 p.m., at the RFM Gym on Pioneer St., Mandaluyong.
Registration is at 1 p.m., with the levelling tournament, which will determine the team assignaments of players, to be held right after.
All boys and girls, beginners or experienced, aged eight to 14, are encouraged to join the Sunday tournament which aims to give young boys and girls the chance to improve their skills in a tournament “where everybody plays.”
The tournament proper starts June 6.
Being true to its philosophy of fun, participation, sportsmanship and skills development the league has three age group divisions – 10-under, 12-under and 14-under.
The league balances the teams to ensure fair competition. Medals and individual awards can be earned in the tournament.
The camp is run by Eva Celestino.
Many of the graduates of KidzHoops went on to become topnotch high school and collegiate players in the UniversityAthletic Association of the Philippines, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and other major school leagues.
