MANILA, Philippines - Dennis Orcullo outclassed Warren Kiamco, 21-14, to clinch a berth in the World Pool Championships (WPA World 9-ball) slated June 27-July 5 in Doha, Qatar.
Orcullo, the reigning International Predator 10-ball champion, dominated early and went on to top the Billiards and Snooker Congress of the Philippines (BSCP) qualifying round at the Star Billiards Center in Quezon City.
Others seeing action in the world tilt are Ronnie Alcano, Marlon Manalo, Lee Vann Corteza, Antonio Lining and Antonio Gabica.
Orcullo is also set to play in the 2010 Party Poker World Pool Masters set May 12-16 and the inaugural US Open 10-Ball Championships on May 17-22 at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
