Tucson at stake in Forest Hills
ANTIPOLO , Philippines – A brand-new Hyundai Tucson, one of the most sought after SUVs in the market, will be staked as a hole-in-one prize during the 2010 Forest Hills Invitational that gets off the ground April 22 at the complex’s Nicklaus course here.
Presented by Golforce and Hyundai, this year’s edition has drawn 150 teams, with the Raffy Garcia-Jaime Fernandez and Pelagio Alcantara-Ed Gaspi squads seeking repeats.
Whether anyone wins the Tucson or not with an ace, a brand-new Hyundai Accent will be raffled off during the awarding ceremonies after the final round.
Format for the first 18 holes will be net four-ball stroke play using the stableford method of scoring, with the final round combining medal scores of each member to make up the total team score.
Pagcor Parañaque and Sumitomo Chemicals are also backing the event, which has enjoyed renowned success under Forest Hills general manager Romy Carlos and golf manager Andrew Maglipon.
The event is also backed by the Turf Company and Taishan Insurance Brokers Phils., Inc.
