Accel's SWAT is for sun, water, air, trees

-

MANILA, Philippines - Accel recently released to the market a new line of clothing specially manufactured to withstand the harsh elements like solar, water, air and even trees.

The new line of shoes, shirts, shorts and other apparels is called SWAT, which literally means sun, water, air and trees, according to Sporteum Philippines, Inc., maker of Accel.

Filipino-American tennis aces Cecil Mamiit and Treat Conrad Huey are the endorsers of this new line of Accel products, which come in specially packaged boxes that can later be be used again or recycled.

``We’re proud to announce that Sporteum Philippines has adopted the theme of SWAT on all of its products. It stands for solar, water, air and trees,’’ said Ortiz.

``With this paradigm, our company will be able to help reduce the factors that could harm the environment,’’ added Ortiz.

Mamiit and Huey, currently the country’s top netters, led the Philippine team to the Davis Cup Group I but eventually lost their bid for a place in the World Cup for the first time when they lost to powerhouse Japan recently.

Accel is also expanding in other sports like tennis, volleyball, badminton, running and even mixed martial arts.
