Cantada Sports holds intercollegiate volley

MANILA, Philippines - Joe Cantada Sports jumpstarts the coming summer sports sizzler with the staging of the PCSO Metro Manila Women’s Inter-Collegiate Beach Volleyball Challenge on March 27 at the Cantada Sports Center sand court in Taguig.

Some of the top collegiate teams in Metro Manila – Ateneo University, Far Eastern U, Adamson, Letran, UE and Mapua – are competing in this event backed by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office.

“We all have a busy summer sports program, and Joe Cantada Sports has decided that a topnotch beach volleyball tournament is the best way to start things going,” said head organizer Edgardo “Tito Boy” Cantada.

Joe Cantada Sports has hooked up with television program Golf Power Plus on NBN 4 and the worldwide The Filipino Channel for the full airing of the games.

The participants are all billeted at the Cantada Sports Center – now considered the main venue for boxing, beach volleyball, basketball and other sports south of Manila.
