Architects monthly golf on

MANILA, Philippines - The Architects Golf Club holds its monthly tournament today with a big field vying for top honors in various divisions at the Mimosa Golf and Country Club and Mt. View course in Pampanga.

Around 116 players, including the country’s leading golfing architects and those from the sponsors, are teeing off in a shotgun start at 7 a.m.

The stroke-play format tournament is sponsored by Boysen Paints.

Other backers of the event are Anjumay Inc./Fujiair-Fujiwater, Don Builders/APCO, Coach Concepts & Designs, Crown Pipes, Excellence Appliance/Whirlpool-Fujidenzo-Glem, Expert Interior, Famcor Glass Works, HCG, Julant/BASF and Monark Equipment.

Meanwhile, the inter-school tournament pits Univ. of the Phils. vs other schools, Univ. of Santo Tomas vs Far Eastern U and Mapua vs National U.
