NCA derby under way at Ynares

MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance (NCA) holds another derby today, featuring a high-powered cast of country’s top breeders at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Bebot Uy of Davao, who co-hosts the event with the Firefly Group of Ernie Austria and Hessie Mallillin, is fielding his best roosters in the event sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor.

Also seeing action are the entries of Tony Marfori, Ricky Valencia, Kapitan Goto, Ka Luding, Edwin Yap, Kenneth Chung, Charlie Ang, Emil Chua, Boy Marzo, Rudy Amistad, and Ricky Reyes.

Joining the hunt for top honors are NCA members Rudy Albano, Jimmy Ang, Patrick Antonio, Ferdie Buensalida, Efren Canlas, Eric de Guzman, Eric dela Rosa, Jet Fernando, Pete Ison, Jun Jingco, Rudy Jingco; JV Magsaysay, Ricky Magtoto, Rene Medina, Ellan Nagano, Elmer Nepomuceno, Gerry Ramos, Ruel Ricafort, Armand Santos, Manny Santos, the Cebu and Batangas Group, Jun Soriano, James Uy, Mario Villamor, Bebot Villar, the Madlangbayan brothers and Danny Teves.

Meanwhile, Osang dela Cruz, Jun Soriano, Teng Rañola, Elmer Nepomuceno, James Uy and Mario Villamor, Ernie Austria and Rene Medina lead the race in NCA Cocker of the Year.
