MANILA, Philippines - A residential lot, an Alaska cruise and a P100,000 cash prize are among the many prizes up for grabs in the Summit Point Invitational golf tournament on Saturday at the well-maintained Summit Point Golf and Country Club in Lipa, Batangas.
The big prize, a prime 120-square meter residential lot in Rio de Oro subdivision in Gen. Trias, is at stake for a hole-in-one on the sixth and 17th holes of the picturesque course featuring holes inspired by the best designs in the world.
Royal Caribbean International and Baron Travel are staking an Alaska cruise for two for an ace on the eighth hole, a prize which will also serve as the grand raffle prize. The other two par-3 holes, 2 and 13, offer P100,000 in cash and a set of the new Cobra irons.
More than P500,000 worth of appliances will be raffled off in the 18-hole tourney also backed by Dynamic Sports, Leisure Max Co., Summit Point Realty, Lemans Inc., J & W Golf Links, Aquadyne, Sta. Lucia Realty & Dev’t Inc., Royal Caribbean International, Rizgolf, Tobi and Exotik Restaurant.
Tournament fee is P4,000 for members and P5,000 for non-members.
Format of competition is two-man team with handicap.
To be disputed are the overall net title, the overall gross and the top two awards in four handicap categories.
