Solar also airs fight in cinemas

MANILA, Philippines - Solar Sports, in its effort to give Filipino boxing fans the best viewing experience, has tapped not only the Big Dome but premier theater chains to telecast the Manny Pacquiao-Joshua Clottey duel tomorrow morning (Manila time).

Trisha Ocampo, Solar Sports corporate communications manager, said the fight will be shown live not only at the Araneta Coliseum, Rockwell Cinema, Eastwood Cinema and all cinemas of SM, Robinsons and Ayala Center.

Solar Sports is the exclusive official Philippine distributor of Pacquiao fights.

The satellite feed from Dallas, Texas, the venue of the fight, will come in at 9 a.m.

A crowd of about 45,000 is expected to fill in the giant $1.2 billion Cowboys Stadium with millions more expected to watch the fight live on TV.

The Araneta Coliseum had its first presentation of a Pacquiao fight last year, drawing a sellout crowd for the Pacquiao-Miguel Cotto showdown.

The Pacquiao-Clottey presentation could be even better.
