Pucay, Que lag behind

-

MANILA, Philippines - Mars Pucay matched par 72 and stood too far behind the leaders at the start of the British Open International Final Qualifying paced by Malaysian Danny Chia and Korea’s Noh Seung-yul with 66s at the Saujana Golf and Country Club in Malaysia yesterday.

Pucay’s 72 put him in joint 12th with the Filipino bet needing to shoot in the mid-60s to be in contention for the coveted slots in the British Open slated in July in St. Andrews.

Angelo Que struggled with a 73 marred by four bogeys against three birdies as he dropped to joint 22nd.
