Moralde enters boxing semis

MANILA, Philippines - Engelbert Moralde used his speed and power to beat his Uzbek rival, 5-1, and advance to the semifinal round of the 148-kg division of the 19th Asian Youth Boxing Championship in Tehran, Iran late Saturday.

Moralde, from Davao City and a discovery of the Amateur Boxing Association of the Philippines Youth Championship in Puerto Princesa last year, goes up against an Indian for a shot at the light flyweight gold medal.
