Schedules are now posted on its website: www.hoopsschool.com.
Hoops School, co-founded by PBA seven-time Best Import Bobby Park, started its basketball training camps in 2002, and has brought its basketball program to more than 70 schools nationwide.
Thousands have so far registered for Hoops and many are now playing in various varsity teams nationwide.
For the summer, Hoops School will once again be in Ynares Sports Arena (April 29), Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall Penthouse Gym (April 6), YMCA Manila (April 24), Diliman Preparatory School in QC, Divine Light Academy in Las Piñas, IS Montessori in Bocaue, Bulacan, Faith in Tanauan, Batangas, Immaculate Heart of Mary College in Parañaque, Manresa School in BF Parañaque, EDNAS in Dagupan and San Carlos City.
For a minimal registration fee of P1,699, kids can participate in seven two-hour sessions, and with the registration fee, enrolees also get to bring home free sports gear, such as a training basketball, sports bag, reversible jersey, and sports bottle.
Hoops has been at the forefront of new basketball technology, starting the “free everything program,” and video viewing and audio visual presentations to complement the physical drills. It is also the first basketball organization in Asia to use to NOAH Select arc phot-computer, to provide immediate feedback if a shooter has the correct arc or not, when making a shot.
NOAH is being used by various NBA and European club teams.
Other drills and events related to the camp will be introduced this summer, such as the Ben Wallace defensive systems, the pure shot and the heads up goggles.
Trainers of Hoops School have also been carefully selected, based on their experience in coaching, facility of instruction, and patience with kids.
