MANILA, Philippines - Hi-Smart Coach E Basketball School is holding its summer basketball tournament and classes starting April in various venues.

International Basketball Academy (IBA) president Xavy Nunag made this announcement as students of the third module from Club 650, The Zone, San Beda Alabang and Xavier School will showcase their newfound skills in the graduation cum mini tournament set tomorrow, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Xavier High School gym.

Students will again receive a colored basketball card featuring the players’ picture with the grades indicated at the back.

Meanwhile, the Coach E summer tournament is tentatively slated to start April 17 or 24 also at the Xavier School Gym. Games are 1-5 p.m. every Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays until May 22.

Tournament director Tyrone Limon said schools can enter their teams in three divisions – for boys born 1998 or later (Rookies Division) or born 1995 or later (All Stars Division) and girls born 1993 or later.

To join the tournament, each team would need only to purchase P3,000 worth of Hi-Smart vitamins and submit the team lineup and photocopy of birth certificates. Deadline for submission is March 31.
