MANILA, Philippines - Interested runners who wish to join the 21st Yakult 10 Miler will have only until Wednesday, to register for the event.
Set to start on Vicente Sotto St. inside the Cultural Center Complex grounds, the race considered to be the second longest running event in the country, will be run on the south bound side of Roxas Blvd. from P. Burgos St. at the Luneta until MIA road in Parañaque.
At stake is a total cash prize of P30,000 for the top finishers of the 10-mile race plus trophies, while medals and gift packs await top finishers of the 5K and 3K runs.
Registration fee is P300 with the Yakult running singlets issued upon registration. All finishers will receive finishers’ t shirts and a bottle of Yakult unique health drink with Lacto Bacilli Shirota Strain.
Registration centers are at the ground floor of the Vasquez Madrigal Bldg. at 51 Annapolis St. in Greenhills, San Juan, and at Mizuno Stores at the second level of the Trinoma Mall and the Bonifacio High St. at the Global City.
Meanwhile, organizers announced that participants must be at the assembly area on Vicente Sotto St. not later than 4:30 a.m for race briefing and check in. Race starts promptly at 5:30 a.m.
