St. Clare tops SBP U-17

-

MANILA, Philippines - St. Clare College of Caloocan topped the first ever SBP Under-17 National Junior Championship in Cebu.

The Baby Saints did it via a sweep, capped with a close 80-76 win over Iloilo Chinese Commercial High School (ICCHS) in the winner-takes-all final at the University of San Carlos gym recently.

“We’re very happy with this achievement, winning this SBP title,” said coach Ernesto Laurel. “Winning the SBP under-17 title is easily the biggest our team has achieved so far.”

Also under Laurel, St. Clare also bagged the National Inter-Secondary Championship in Bicol in 2006 and the NAASCU junior title in 2007.
