Prudente bags title in ABC tiff

MANILA, Philippines - Hermie Prudente of Firefly-ROYU bagged the Group 1 crown with 1132, while Ruben Mina of Duraflex annexed the Group 2 plum with 1107, in the Architects Bowling Club’s all-events singles at Green Valley lanes last week.

The second-third finishers were Manny Padit of Philflex Wires and Cables (1130) and May Sabater of Atlanta Ind. (1069) in Group 1 and Malou del Rosario of Supreme Pipes (1023) and Sandra Enriquez of Medwest Tech. Inst. (1012) in Group 2.

Albert Ong of Boysen Healthy Homes captured the Group 3 title with 885, followed by Greg Mare of Boysen Paints (843) and Johnny Vinta of Concrete Ventures (840).

The weekly event, sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints, resumes tonight with the staging of the monthly championship also at the Green Valley Bowling Lanes in Pasig.
