“We were impressed with the turnout of the first arnis competition after the Filipino martial arts sport was officially declared as the country’s national sport. We’re also happy with the results of the event because there were mixture of arnis winners proving that we have great talent to excel in this sport even in international competition,” said former Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) commissioner Josie Bauzon who helped organize the event together with Victor Cusi of the sponsoring Milcu Deodorant Powder.
