DZMM 11th Takbo race set Feb. 28

MANILA, Philippines - Radio station DZMM will hold the 11th “DZMM Takbo Para sa Kalikasan” on Feb. 28 starting at the Quirino Grandstand for the benefit of the environment.

The event has supported the protection and maintenance of over 400 trees in the La Mesa Watershed, which supplies water to 12 million Metro Manila residents. This time, the fun run will boost the Pasig River Rehabilitation Project through ABS-CBN Foundation’s Bantay Kalikasan.

Anchors of DZMM, ABS-CBN executives and Kapamilya celebrities are expected to join again in the race, which has 3K, 5K, and 10K categories. Aside from the top finishers, the youngest and oldest runners and the biggest government, non-government organization, and student contingents will also be awarded.
