FASIA cage tourney on

MANILA, Philippines - The Federation of Architecture Schools Involved in Athletics (FASIA) 20th basketball tournament starts today with opening ceremonies at the CCP Gym along Aurora Blvd, Quezon City.

Fourteen schools, led by defending champion FEU, are participating. The other teams are from CCP, TIPM, TPQC, UP, MLQU, RTU, TUP, DLSU, NU, EARIST, MIT, UST and newcomer UE Caloocan. The games will be held at the CCP gym every Saturday and Sunday.

This year’s games will have a new format formulated by architect BJ Chui of UST. The tournament is managed by Dean Abelardo Firmeza, CCP (steering committee), and architects Manny Fernando, FEU (ways and means), Sergs Chua, AdU (eligibility) and Ogie Bernarte (tournament commissioner).
