PBC youth bowl under way
MANILA, Philippines - Youth bowling takes center stage beginning today as the Philippine Bowling Congress holds the 17th PBC National Youth Tenpin Bowling Championships at the new Bowling Inn on Taft Ave., Manila.
The tournament, revived after a two-year hiatus, features the country’s top and fast-rising bowlers from the ranks from the various local associations under the PBC.
Visayas and Mindanao will also be represented in the five-day tournament organized by the PBC Youth Committee.
Events on tap are singles, doubles, team-of-four, all-events and the Masters titles in the boys and girls divisions.
The overall team champion will receive the Perpetual Youth Champions Cup, donated by International Hall of Famer and six-time world champion Paeng Nepomuceno.
Among the teams expected to vie honors are MTBA (Manila), TBAM (Makati), PBA (Pasig), PBAP (Parañaque), QCBA, SLETBA (Sta. Lucia), ATBA (Alabang), CETBA & BTA (Cebu), and DATBA (Davao).
