JAV jungolf set at Valley

MANILA, Philippines - Keen competition is seen in the JAV Open Junior Golf Championship firing off Dec. 20 at the Valley Golf and Country Club in Antipolo, Rizal.

Bino Dela Paz (boys division) and Korean Jeong Hwa Lee (girls division) head the cast in the two-day event as they go for back-to-back titles in their respective divisions.

“The best local and international junior golfers ages 17 and below will compete in different age categories,” said JAV Open chairman Toti Salvador.

Players aged 18 to 21 are also invited to join the two-day event organized by the Jungolf Association of Valley (JAV) which serves part of JAV’s fifth anniversary celebrations

Invited to grace the opening ceremony and the ceremonial tee off are Jungolf Foundation of the Philippines president Gerry Handog, ICTSI team coach Bong Lopez, golf professional Norman Sto. Domingo and Junior World golf champion Cyna Rodriguez, as well as JAV president William Uy, former JAV president Noel Flores and Valley Golf president Bernie Cruz.

Tournament Fee is P1,500.
