MANILA, Philippines - The Manila Auto Salon, the country’s largest automotive aftermarket show, features the latest performance-related equipment and services for the motorsports racers and sports tuning specialists at the SMX Convention Center in Mall of Asia Complex.
Organized by TradeShow International, Inc., a member of SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) and PAAIA (Philippine Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association), the premier motoring event is ongoing and will end on Sunday.
It also showcases the 14th Custom Car show, the 14th Sport Truck Show and the third Mobile Electronics and Technology Show.
The show’s main crowd draw is a car enthusiast’s dreamland featuring the display of more than 120 race inspired cars, drift cars, drag cars, customized cars, off-road racers, sport trucks and SUVs each vying for category honors and the highly coveted Best of Show awards. The competition will put on the spotlight, the talent, ingenuity and superb craftsmanship of Filipino customizers and car crafters, considered at par with the best in Asia.
The show will also have its Sound-off Challenge. TradeShow International, Inc. (TSI) has long been supporting IASCA in the Philippines. TSI has contracted IASCA Worldwide Inc. officials to hold an IASCA-sanctioned Soundoff at the 2009 Manila Auto Salon Show.
Apart from the Custom Car, Sport Trucks and SUV competitions and IASCA Sound off, other highlights of the 2009 Manila Auto Salon are the Ultimate Tuner Award; Resto-Mod Display of Classic and Vintage Cars; a Die Cast Scale Model Exhibit, Garage Tech Sessions; Celebrity Interview Sessions; and the search for the Manila Auto Salon Race Queens.
