MSSL-Entom Cup final day set Sunday

MANILA, Philippines - Cebuana Lhuillier, Meralco, Pera Padala, and Entom resume their respective bids in the semifinals and the finals of the Manila Slow-pitch Softball League (MSSL)-Eentom Cup on Sunday at the Rosario Complex in Pasig.

In last week’s playoffs, Pera Padala beat BYOB, 13-2, and Calamba, 13-8, to take the number 3 position while Entom had to go through a wringer, losing to Calamba, 8-12, but prevailing over BYOB, 11-2. It then beat Calamba, 2-1, in the playoff to move into the semis round of the tournament backed by Cebuana Lhuilier, Pera Padala, and Le Soleil de Boracay.

Pera Padala will meet Entom in the first game while top two teams Cebuana Lhuillier and Meralco clash in the second game. The winner of Game 1 plays the loser of Game 2 while the loser of Game 1 goes up against the loser of Game 3 for third place honors.

The winners of Game 2 and Game 3 advance to the winner-take-all championship match.
