Javier reigns in ABC circuit bowl

MANILA, Philippines - Ronnie Javier of ABC Phils. sizzled with an eight-game series of 1832 to capture the Architects Bowling Club’s circuit championship at the Playdium Bowling Lanes on Araneta, Ave., Quezon City last week.

Buddy Segui of Supreme Steel Pipes rolled 1823, Nepthy del Rosario of Boysen Paints scored 1815, Paeng Villanueva of Atlanta Industries had 1782 and Nonoy de Jesus of Philflex Wires submitted 1689 to finish second, third, fourth and fifth, respectively, in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

In the non-qualifiers event, Violy Magsakay of Firefly-Royu carded 1748 to bag the crown.

Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Crown Pipes, ProActive Pest Control, Stone 2000, Toto, Hocheng Phils., Lepanto Tiles, Sika Phils. and Emerald Vinyl, resumes at 4 p.m. today for the first squad and at 7 p.m. for the second squad with the staging of the monthly championship for December at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig City.
