Boxing tonite at Elorde's

MANILA, Philippines - Jonathan Tacuning faces Quilver Cailing while Joram Ballar fights Leonardo Doronio in 10-round bouts highlighting the Rotary Club of Paranaque Sucat “Boxing Kontra Droga” at the Elorde Sports Center on Sucat Road, Parañaque tonight.

What may steal the excitement of the show are the fights of Elorde Brothers Juan Martin “Bai” Elorde and Juan Miguel “Mig” Elorde against tough opponents who will be all out to destroy the unblemished records of the Elorde brothers.

Bai, fighting in the Jr. lightweight division (130lbs), with a record of eight wins with two KOs and no loss, will face Jomar Borbon of Manoy Boxing stable while Mig, fighting in the bantamweight division (118lbs), has five wins with 1 KO and no loss. He battles Vic Racoma of Smash Power Gym. Both will fight for six rounds.

In the preliminaries, Glenn Sumingit fights Esmalben Bujas (6 rounds, 112 lbs), Aljune Osabel battles Ricky Cabatingan (4 rds, 126 lbs), Felipe Estoyom against G.B. Banares (4 rds, 115 lbs) and Esteban Hayahay versus Janno Bedrijo (4 rds, 118 lbs.)

Admission ticket is pegged at P150.
