Chase for SEAG golf berths starts

MANILA, Philippines - Ten of the country’s top amateurs begin their chase for four berths in the national team competing in the SEA Games in Laos this December with reigning national champion Mhark Fernando leading the chase at Riviera’s Langer course in Silang, Cavite today.

Fernando, who beat practically the same field in winning this year’s national amateur title at Eastridge, hopes to flash the form that netted him the ICTSI-Riviera Classic crown last September where he humbled the pros to rule the sixth leg of the ICTSI-Philippine Golf Tour last September.
