MANILA, Philippines - Hi-Smart Coach E Basketball School will donate part of its tuition proceeds from the upcoming second module set to start Nov. 5 to Typhoon Ondoy flood victims.
International Basketball Academy (IBA) president Xavy Nunag made the announcement with its shortened 10-session schedule for the school supported by Hi-Smart Multivitamins plus Iron under the New Marketlink Pharmaceutical Corp.
“In the wake of this tragedy, Coach E Basketball School has decided to move its opening of the second modules to Nov. 5 at the earliest to give time for all of us to recuperate. Nunag assured that despite the shortened schedule, personalized and scientific basketball instruction will always be expected at Xavier School in San Juan (Nov. 5-Dec. 6), Clubsixfifty in Libis (Nov. 6-Dec. 6), The Zone in Makati (Nov. 7-Dec. 6) and San Beda Alabang (Nov. 7-Dec. 6).
The schedule: Xavier School (Monday and Thursday, 4-6 p.m.), Club650 (Fridays, 5-7 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m.-12 noon), The Zone (Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.-12 noon) and San Beda College-Alabang (Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.-12 noon).
Coach E Basketball School, boasting of Asia’s lowest instructor-to-student ratio at 1:5, has three modules that are divided into training sessions focusing on fundamentals and shot training.
