Dancesport national tilt lures 400 bets

MANILA, Philippines - The DanceSport Council of the Philippines Inc. will hold the DSCP National Championship on Oct. 10 with over 400 participants vying for top honors at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

National DanceSport athletes Emmanuel Reyes and Maira Rosete (Standard Discipline), Brian Joseph Ocana and Karla Stephanie Joy Ocana (Standard Discipline), Ronnie Steve Vergara and Charlea Lagaras (Latin Discipline) and John Erolle Melencio and Dearlie Gerodias (Latin Discipline) head the roster of participants in the event also aimed at identifying talents for the national pool and held in conjunction of DSCP’s 13th anniversary celebration.

Seven International Dance Sport Federation (DSF) licensed adjudicators from Poland, Netherlands, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, Australia and Spain are coming to adjudicate in the event, according to DSCP president Becky Garcia.

Tickets are available at the DanceSport Training Center in Philsports Complex, Meralco Avenue Pasig City and at the entrance of the Ninoy Aquino Stadium on Oct. 10. For details, contact Anna or Lorien at 635-0116.
