Cham pockets ABC singles crown

MANILA, Philippines - Jerry Cham of Boysen Paints waxed hot with a six-game total of 1378 pinfalls to capture the Architects Bowling Club’s singles crown with handicap at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig City last week.

Dante Manglicmot of Emerald Vinyl finished second with 1266 while Romi de Jesus of Atlanta Industries rolled 1260 to place third. Buddy Segui of Supreme Steel Pipes Corp. scored 1259 and Violy Magsakay of Firefly-Royu Lightings had 1235 to finish fourth and fifth, respectively, in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Crown Pipes, ABC Phils., ProActive Pest Control, Stone 2000, Toto, Philflex Wires and Cables, Hocheng Phils., Lepanto Tiles, Sika Phils. and Boysen Paints, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the third quarterly championship, also at the Green Valley lanes.
