Takbo! for breast cancer up
MANILA, Philippines - Breast cancer patients get a big boost as Soroptimist International of Ortigas and Environs is inviting all running enthusiasts to join its eight annual 3K, 5K and 10K fun run Takbo! Breast Friends tomorrow at the Ultra Sports Complex in Pasig.
According to Soroptimist Ortigas president Maricel Oñate, all proceeds to be generated from the fund-raising activity will be for the chemotheraphy treatment of indigent breast cancer patients.
Registration fees are P250 for individuals and P200 per person for groups or clubs. Cash prizes, trophies and medals are at stake for the winners.
