MANILA, Philippines - The ninth anniversary presentation of In This Corner resumes tonight (7-8 p.m.) over NBN-4 with a featherweight duel between Ronald Pontillas and Jonel Alibio.
The bout, sponsored by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), Biogenic Isopropyl Alcohol and GSIS, was fought over eight rounds.
Pontillas and Alibio were some of the handful boxers who saw action in the anniversary boxing card presented by In This Corner last month at the Ynares Plaza gymnasium in Binangonan, Rizal.
Daniel Ferreras and Danilo Peña headline the promotion as they dispute the RP super-flyweight championship in a 12-round title fight.
