RP tracksters invited to Crocs run

MANILA, Philippines - Some of the country’s top runners, including two-time Olympian Eduardo Buenavista and two-time SEA Games gold medalist Rene Herrera, have been invited to participate in the Crocs Prepair To Run which unwraps Sept. 13 at the SM Mall of Asia grounds in Pasay City.

Track and field coach Odion Bolante said some members of the national track team are tipped to see action in the Crocs run, a Philippine Track and Field Association (PATAFA)-sanctioned event which features races in the 3k, 5k and 10k among running enthusiasts, club members and weekend runners.

The national tracksters presence is expected to further generate interest in the event, sponsored by Crocs, Inc., with All Condition Gear Philippines, Inc. (ACGPI), the exclusive distributor of crocstm in the country, which offers a total prize of P50,000 and targets over 2,000 participants.
