In This Corner pits Sonsona
MANILA, Philippines - The other half of the famed Sonsona fighters is the featured protagonist in tonight’s edition of the boxing show In This Corner (7-8 p.m) over NBN-4.
Eden Sonsona fights in a 10-round bantamweight bout with Nino Magboo in the presentation sponsored by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, PCSO and Biogenic Isopropyl Alcohol.
The 20-year old southpaw is the cousin of unbeaten Marvin `Marvelous’ Sonsona, who won the World Boxing Organization (WBO) super-flyweight title from Jose Lopez in Ontario, Canada.
The Eden Sonsona-Nino Magboo duel is part of the card presented by In This Corner to celebrate its ninth anniversary just recently.
The action-packed 12-round title fight for the RP super-flyweight belt pitting Daniel Ferreras and Danilo Pena headlines the boxing promotion held at the Ynarez Plaza Gymnasium in Binangonan, Rizal.
