MANILA, Philippines - Three highly rated teams and one debuting squad dispute the Pampanga leg of the Smart Liga Pilipinas Conference III beginning today at the Holy Angel University Gym in Angeles City, Pampanga.
Host Smart-Pampanga Buddies take on the Trace-Laguna Stallions in the 6 p.m. main game featuring two teams that placed second in their initial leg assignments this conference. The Stallions lost to the M. Lhuillier Kwarta Padala-Cebu Niños two weeks ago in the finale of the Cebu City leg, 74-88, while the Buddies dropped a 71-74 setback to Forward Taguig in the Taguig City leg last week.
