Registration on for Looney Tunes race

MANILA, Philippines - Registration for the Looney Tunes Active Fun Run at SM Mall of Asia on Aug. 30 is ongoing with a banner field featuring kids and adults expected to vie for top honors in the 3K and 5K categories.

The MOA run actually caps a series of running events for kids aged 4-12 staged at various schools in the metropolis as Warners Bros., through Looney Tunes, joined the campaign in raising awareness on running as a competitive sport.

The 5K run, an open event, will fire off at 6 a.m. while the 3K run, open to kids 12 years old and below, will be held at 7 a.m

Fabulous prizes await the top three finishers in boys and girls categories in the 8-and-below and 9-12 age group categories of the event, a Warner Bros. project aimed at promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.

To spice up the event, supported by Alaska, Timex watches, Nestle Ice Cream, PT Kino, Sterling, JC Lucas, and Advance notebooks, a basketball 3-on-3 will be held at 1 p.m.
