UE coach cites US Sports Visitors Program in Manila

MANILA, Philippines - The US Department of State Sports Visitors Program drew a huge response from Metro Manila schools which participated in the event last July 30.

The project was held in cooperation with Sports United, the US Embassy and the US NBA and US WNBA.

UE Jr. Warriors head coach Mark Herrera, a rookie coach in the UAAP Jrs., said he attended the event to expand his coaching experience.

“I have learned new things that will go a long way in improving my coaching techniques and abilities. I will be using everything I learned from this training camp to develop the Jr. Warriors,” said Herrera, also the grand slam champion coach of the Jr. PBA and the RP Youth 13-U national pool.
