Healthway sets 3rd badminton tourney

MANILA, Philippines - Healthway Medical, the country’s largest network of mall-based clinics, will hold its third annual badminton tournament dubbed “Serve for Health” starting next month.

A leveling tournament will be held on Aug. 15, 22 and 29 and on Sept 5 at the Zone on Malugay Street in Makati City. Elimination matches will be held on Nov. 27 at the same venue, with the championship matches set on Nov. 21 at the Festival Supermall Activity Area.

Proceeds of the tournament will be donated to the Pathways Foundation that supports the college education of underprivileged kids.

“Healthway’s annual badminton tournament, aside from being part of our corporate social responsibility program, also reinforces the company’s mission of supporting its advocacy of living a healthy lifestyle,” said Carmie De Leon, vice president for sales and marketing.
