MANILA, Philippines - Federation of Philippine Golf Club’s Richie Garcia carded a 71 to rule the 10th European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) Golf Challenge at the Sta. Elena Golf Course in Laguna recently.
Garcia topped the field composed of 117 business executives from some of the biggest companies and organizations in the country.
AJA Registrars Inc.’s Timothy Dixon finished second with a gross 76 while Siemen’s Adrian Wood made an 80 for third.
Meanwhile, Zuellig Pharmaceutical Corp.’s Lito Cruz took the men’s division title while Nokia Siemens Network Philipines Inc.’s Aby Bantug reigned in women’s division.
Former ECCP president and tournament chairman William Bailey, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp.’s Edgar Chua and British Ambassador to the Philippines Peter Beckingham earlier hit the ceremonial tee-off to kick off the event sponsored by Etihad Airlines, Royal Cargo, AGS Fourwinds, ING Bank, DHL, Carepak, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., 71707 Islands Cruise, Zest Air, Fridays Boracay, and American Eye.
