MANILA, Philippines – Manila Jockey Club, Inc. is hosting today the Philippine Racing Commission (Philracom)-sponsored “Pearl-I Stakes Race” at the San Lazaro Leisure and Business Park (SLLBP) in Carmona, Cavite.
Top special class division horses are competing in the 1,900-meter journey for the top prize of P300,000.
Joining the chase for the top post are local and imported gallopers from groups five, six and seven. These include Holy Ridge (DH Borbe Jr 56), Lim Expensive Toys (JA Guce 56), Negligee (VR Delma 53) and Syrinx (JB Guce 56).
The runner-up will take home P112,500, third placer P62,500 and fourth P25,000. The breeder of the winning horse gets P15,000.

Meanwhile, MJCI is staging on June 21-22 the “Karera Para Sa Kalikasan Part 2”, sponsored by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) through Secretary Lito Atienza.
