Wallguard claims AGC team crown
MANILA, Philippines – Team Wallguard pooled 378 points to capture the team crown in the Architects Golf Club anniversary tournament at the Baguio Country Club in Baguio City last May 18.
Charles Cheng of Expert Interior fired 52 points while Egay Pasion, Nilo Villanueva and Willy Cruz chipped in 42, 38 and 37 points, respectively, as Team Wallguard edged Team Permacoat to pocket the championship in the 18-hole tournament.
Other scorers for Team Wallguard were Francis Santaromana (36), Julian Confesor (35), Jun Andres (35), Edward Lim of JME Supreme (35), Benny Velasco (34) and Danny Tabifranca (34).
Tito Antonio shot 43 points to lead Team Permacoat while Team Healthy, drawing 39 points from Richard Tan, and Team Virtuoso, led by Odet Bongato’s 43 points, finished third and fourth, respectively.
