Antonio, Ramos pace National Cockers World derby tilt

MANILA, Philippines – The National Cockers Alliance (NCA) World Championship Derby holds another round today at the Ynares Center in Pasig with Patrick Antonio and Gerry Ramos’ entries leading the cast with four points apiece.

Ruel Ricafort, the leader in the NCA Cocker of the Year race, lost two fights in the elims and must score two victories to stay in the hunt for the top COTY award.

Boxing icon Manny Pacquiao led the bets with two points with his entry MPBR Queen Elizabeth III. The others are Gen. Dela Cruz (Allen David Sundance), Ramon Mencenares (Mister B), Ramos (Against All Odds), Blandy Tolentino (Poius San Pablo), Gov. Vic Yap and Atty. Jun Mendoza (Paniqui AQR), Louie Martinez (LR Renegade Binangonan Firefly), Lito Orillaza (Makati 6-Stag Big Event I), Ricky Valencia (Scorpio), Gov. Ito Ynares (Binangonan), Vice Mayor Tuano and BL ( NGCA), Antonio (Sagupaan Complexor 3000 and Minimum Lang).

James Uy (JU Belo July 25, San Juan) and Sec. Ronnie Puno (Wild Wing Sundance II) led another group with the 1.5 points.
