Warriors shoot for 4th win in row vs Altas

MANILA, Philippines - Defending champion University of the East goes for a fourth straight win as it battles University of Perpetual Help at resumption of the Filoil Flying V Pre-Season MVP Cup at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

The Warriors, who beat the San Beda Red Lions to capture last year’s crown, try to break out of a tie with the San Sebastian Stags and seize the solo lead in Group A with a victory over the Altas in the 2 p.m. opener.

Perpetual Help totes a 1-2 slate in Group B.

Far Eastern U, meanwhile, seeks to even its mark at 2-2 in Group B as it tangles with Letran in the 4 p.m. encounter.
