-

TACLOBAN CITY, Philippines – For the second straight year, the Department of Education will employ its website, which features news, results and everything about the weeklong multi-sports event for elementary and high school students. DepEd officials even boast depedtfss.wikispaces.com will report game results real time, which didn’t happen when the internet site was first launched last year in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. There, some results came several hours after the event concluded, with the rest coming in the morning after.

For just P100, one can tour this beautiful port city. The cheap package covers the transportation, tour guide, entrance fee plus a free souvenir item made of indigenous materials. Aboard the Icot-Icot vehicle, which was named after host Gov. Carlos Jericho Petilla’s nickname Icot or go-round, the three-hour tour starts from the RTR Plaza and will thread through popular tourist destinations like the Provincial Capitol, Family Park, the statue of the image of the crucified Christ, the Asian Madonna, the Sto Niño Church and the San Juanico Bridge.
