Talabucon, Laguitan top ABC quarterly bowling

MANILA, Philippines – Loret Talabucon of Sika Phils. rolled big games and came through with an eight-game series of 1882 to capture the Group I crown while Edwin Laguitan of ABC Phils. scored 1481 to top Group 2 in the Architects Bowling Club’s quarterly championship at the Green Valley Bowling Lanes in Pasig City last week.

Buddy Segui of Ragojos Heritage Const. finished second in Group I with 1822 while Denis Jalandoon of Emerald Vinyl had 1807 and Johnson Villanueva of Crown Pipes scored 1739 to finish third and fourth, respectively, in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Ryan Jalandoon of Lepanto Tiles posted 1462, Romy Ochoa of Supreme Steel Pipe Corp. made 1395 and Edna Beltran of Boysen Paints had 1380 to place second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 2.

Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Philflex Wires and Cables, Hocheng Phils., Pro Active Pest Control, Pacific World Bldg. Mgmt. and Felport Mktg., resumes at 6:30 tonight with the holding of the ABC bowling clinic by coach Angelo Constantino, to be followed by the first quarterly awards night at the NP Kopi Tiam, also at the Green Valley lanes.
