Laguna, Olongapo in NBTC Luzon final

SUBIC, Philippines – Health Solutions Laguna and the Olongapo Volunteers bested respective opponents on Saturday night to forge a championship showdown in the regional finals of the Nokia National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) D-League here at the SBMA gym.

The team of coach Jun Tiongco swept the semifinals (3-0) following a 60-52 win over Quezon Power Limited.

The Olongapo Volunteers of Sen. Richard Gordon routed Tarlac, 85-70, for a second victory in three games and a seat in the one-game final scheduled late Sunday.

Angelo Alolino topscored for Laguna with 15 points followed by 13 from Jed Salaveria and 10 from Gio Marasigan. GJ Ylagan, Kevin Medrano and Dominique Vera had seven points for Quezon Power.
