MANILA, Philippines - The second Condura Run fires off Sunday at the Bonifacio Global City with over 5,000 runners participating.
The event, organized by Concepcion Durables Inc. and held in partnership with SkyWay, Vitwater, Nike, Canon, Jollibee, Cebu Pacific, and the Bonifacio Development Corporation, aims to help raise funds for the preservation and protection of the whale sharks of Donsol in Sorsogon.
Raul Concepcion, chief executive officer, Concepcion Industries Inc., Anthony Concepcion, president and chief operating officer, Concepcion Durables Inc., and Patrick Concepcion, vice president - service, Concepcion Industries, Inc. are set to fire the starting gun at 5:30 a.m. for the 21K half marathon followed by the 10K challenge run at 6 a.m., 5K discovery run at 6:05 a.m. and the 3K fun run at 6:10 a.m.
From 28th St. in Global City, the 21K runners will proceed to Makati City via Kalayaan flyover and Gil Puyat Ave. going to Osmeña Highway where runners will enter the north-bound side of the SkyWay using the Buendia off ramp. The halfway mark of the race is located near the Magallanes exit of the SkyWay where runners turn around and return to 28th St. using the same route. The north-bound side of the SkyWay from the Magallanes Exit will be closed to traffic starting at 3 a.m. on March 22.
