GDAP summer golf show set April 25-26

MANILA, Philippines - The second GDAP Summer Golf Show will be held April 25 and 26 at the NBC Tent, Fort Bonifacio Global City in Taguig with at least a hundred booths featuring the world’s biggest golf brands.

The show will showcase top products from Dunlop, Titleist, Callaway, Mizuno, Oakley, Nike Golf, Loro/L79, Phiten, Maruman and Wilson Staff.

“We are offering something new this summer to make sure that it’s going to be worth the visit for golfers from different parts of the Philippine and nearby countries,” said this year’s GDAP president Butch Halaguena. “Aside from the major price slash-downs and promotional gimmicks from all participating brands, we will feature different activities for the visitors,” he said.

Organized by Golf Distributors Association of the Philippines (GDAP), the event will also be a venue to promote Buy Here. Buy Real, a campaign which was launched last year encouraging golfers to buy only from GDAP-accredited stores to make sure they buy only the authentic products with warranty and after-sales service that should come with their purchase.

There will be an assortment of buys come showtime. Golf carts, equipment, shoes, apparel and accessories will overflow.

Golf Show chairman Ui Mendoza is very upbeat about the coming party as it will be like holidays for people interested in the sport. “With major brands participating, we’re sure that we’ll be able to give show attendees the things that they look for,” he said.

Other exhibitors include Aetna Enterprises, American Eye Center, FilGolf Magazine, Golf Digest Philippines, Healthmate Innovations, New Smart Formulae Trading Corp., Pagcor Casino Filipino and Raymundo’s Trophies & Sculptures.

Thousands of golfers will visit the show with both dates opening doors at 10 am for a whole day of great seeing and display to last up till 12 midnight. The fact that 1,440 sq meters of space will be loaded with things golf spells the big treat for those working for the growth of golf in the Philippines.
