Aces net two Mercedes-Benz cars

MANILA, Philippines - Balikbayans Alex Aquino and Luis Jesena came through with aces to win two Mercedes-Benz Classic C-180 cars in the 39th Golden Tee tournament at the Manila Golf Club recently.

Aquino, a kidney specialist in Washington, used an 8-iron and Maxfli ball in scoring a hole-in-one on the 161-yard No. 6, his fourth ace in 23 years, in the company of Chito Buenaventura, Lito Ayson and Brian Crayno.

On the other hand, Jesena, a global remittance executive in Los Angeles, made an ace on the 163-yard No. 14 using a 4-iron and a Bridgestone 2 ball in a flight that included brother Oscar and the Chan sisters – Theresa and Lily.
