Adamson rams St. Benilde in Martin Cup

-

MANILA, Philippines - Adamson bucked the absence of its starting guard as it smothered College of St. Benilde, 70-50, over the weekend to remain in the semifinal hunt in the fourth Fr. Martin Collegiate Open Cup at the La Consolacion gym.

Lester Alvarez filled the void left by Jerick Canada, who was suspended for a game after he was tossed out in his team’s last outing, by firing 16 points as the Falcons moved to third with a 3-1 (win-loss) record behind Far Eastern U (5-0) and Jose Rizal A (4-1) in Group B.

Letran College likewise posted its third win in four starts after Informatics forfeited its game while STI edged Colegio de Sta. Monica-Las Piñas, 77-71, in this event backed by Magnolia Beverages, Molten, Basketbolista and www.gameface.ph.
